Doctor of the Day: Oklahoma State Capitol
For 39 years the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association (OOA) has sponsored the Doctor of the Day Program during the month of March at the Oklahoma State Capitol. The osteopathic physicians have provided this service at the State Capitol’s First Aid Station during the legislative session. The Doctor of the Day Program gives DOs an opportunity to bring osteopathic medicine to the policy makers, as well as see their House and Senate members at work. Physicians are supported by a nurse, as well as a medical student from the OSU Center for Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. We thank our Oklahoma DOs for helping make this program such a success!
